Day two of my newly-blogfilled life. My mom is being released from the hospital today. Say a prayer for her. She had complications after having a tumor on her pituitary gland removed on 1/14/08 (Cushings Syndrome). I found a great website today: www. pituitarydisorder.net that shares stories and gives treatment advice for pituitary disorder patients. It looks like my mom's recovery won't be complete for a full year. Hopefully she'll be "functioning" again within 3 months.
I am looking forward to my trip to Burbank, California tomorrow! Wish I were going to The Price is Right, but looking forward to my trip none the less. It should be a great learning experience.
