The debates are over. How strange that they took place just about an hour from where I am staying tonight. I'm in Burbank, CA - a suburb of LA. I so wish that I could have been at the Kodak Theater tonight. I was impressed that both candidates took the high road and didn't stoop to pointing fingers and slinging accusations. I have a respect, on some level, for both of them. However, I have to give my support to Obama. I think he brings the most integrity to the table. We need a leader like him - decisive, honest, likeable and full of integrity - to lead our country. I worried at first about his lack of experience, but his disinterest in "yes-men" in the White House helps me to fully support his campaign. From healthcare intiatives to tax incentives for middle class to an original opposition to the war in Iraq ... I am sold.
Till next time...

Off to Cali
Heading out to Burbank this morning, despite the winter storm that came thru this morning. It's 4 degrees. I thought I could make it thru a 5 ft drift in my driveway this morning. Unfortunately, DJ was right (he warned me) and I got stuck. I had to wait for him to plow the driveway so that I could get out. In the mean time, I spilled an entire cup of coffee in my car. This has not been a good morning...hopefully my travels today will be much smoother.

This is my very first blog. Woo hoo! I've joined the world of bloggers. I hope my thoughts and opinions will, if nothing else, entertain you all.
Today marks the one year anniversary of our move back to Indiana. One year ago today we moved into our cute little house. It was a really scary time and a big step for me, but in hindsight it was a great decision. I am so happy to be near our friends and family, who we missed so much. Roanoke was awesome and I'm so glad we lived there for those first years of our life together. We learned so much about each other and ourselves. I think it made us appreciate our life here in Indiana even more.
The best parts of being back are: my girls! my horse Dan, and our FAMILY. The only thing better would be having the Floridians here...maybe some day.
Till next time ...
